HSC enjoys a rich history of working with graduate students. Interns have assisted with a variety of projects, including advocacy, disaster preparedness, fundraising, research, voter registration, and membership expansion. Interning with HSC is an excellent opportunity for graduate students pursuing a career in public administration, public policy, social work, or nonprofit management. Students are exposed to the inner workings of the legislative and budgeting processes and gain the practical experience necessary to fully develop advocacy, fundraising, organizing, and research skills.
