We have all heard the adage: “The greater the number…the greater the influence and impact.” HSC has successfully become “the voice” of New York City’s human services community because of its numbers. We count among our member organizations nearly 140 human services organizations just like yours—including all major federations and coalitions in the sector as well as many large and emerging direct service organizations. Regardless of organizational size or scope of services, there is a place at the table for each of us. Policy makers, funders, advocates, and City and State government see the HSC table growing. In turn, they recognize us as the “go to” organization on issues of broad concern to the human services sector.
HSC membership provides “added value” to you, your organization, your staff, and clients. We offer our members tried and tested experience in advocacy, legislative, administrative, service delivery, public policy, and technical assistance.
