Lantern Community Services has several residential buildings in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx that have great spaces which they are interested in renting out, preferably to nonprofits or small businesses (daycares or health food cafes/stores, for example) that will have a positive impact on the community. They have three commercial kitchens and dining halls available 24-7 on the weekends and from the afternoon through the morning during the week. They also have large office spaces with windows and natural light available in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn and in East Tremont, Bronx. The New York Academy of Medicine offers 20,000 square feet of event and conference space, located in a landmark building on Manhattan’s Museum Mile. Facilities include a recently renovated conference floor, a 583 fixed seat theatre style auditorium, a wood paneled board room, a magnificent Library Reading Room overlooking Central Park, and several multipurpose function rooms. Conference, events, meetings, receptions, retreats, symposiums, workshops and weddings can range from 20 to 500 persons.
